Pack Type : 6 | Volume : 700 ml | UPC : 5060244031234
Since 1924, we've been creating the finest arrack from the coconut flowers of Sri Lanka. The skills that go into making this traditional "drink of gods" have been passed down through four generations and remain largely the same today. Equipped with deft hand and agile foot, our Toddy Tappers scale the treetops to collect the sap by hand. The toddy then undergoes a natural process of fermentation at our environmentally awarded distillery before being sealed in our signature coral bottles for you to enjoy.
Tasting Notes
Excellent on its own, or poured over ice and topped up with ginger-beer, ginger-ale, cola or chilled coconut water. It is also a wonderful base for classical cocktails and punch recipes. One of our favourite recipes is the Ruby Punch published in 'The Bon Vivant Companion' by Jerry Thomas in 1840
Signature Serve
Punch bowl serving- 700ml Ceylon Arrack, 280ml Taylor's Ruby Port, 280ml fresh lemon juice, 210ml sugar syrup, 1050ml black tea (brewed and cooled).
Single serving- 50ml Ceylon Arrack, 20ml Taylors Ruby Port, 20ml fresh lemon juice, 15ml sugar syrup
Method: Shake all ingredients together with ice, then strain over fresh ice. The Ruby Punch can be made as a one off cocktail, but it's more fun to make a large batch and serve it from a generously sized punch bowl.

Lion Stout
Saveur-biere.com – “Sri Lanka’s most famous export”, “Put simply, this slick, slinky Stout is one of the world’s all-time must-drink beers!”
Michael Jackson, The Beer Hunter – “Soft, fresh and delicious, top-fermenting Lion Stout is bottle- conditioned and has an extraordinary chocolate, mocha character.”
CAMRA Beer Expert Roger Protz – “This Sri Lankan Export Stout has a rich chocolate and coffee taste, and so is perfect for an after-dinner drink. Bearing in mind that it’s made in one of the hottest places on Earth, it’s perhaps surprising that it’s an ideal beverage for a freezing cold night like this one.”
Ben McFarland, Boutique Beer: 500 Quality Craft Beers – “Lion Stout is rightly … revered. It conjures up the richness of a Lebanese Chateau Musar, velvety and voluptuous in body with an earthly, plumy middle leading to a dry acerbic finish of burnt marshmallow, espresso, and spicy red berries.”
Asia’s Most Awarded Stout and widely acclaimed to be among the best beers available. Lion Stout is the only beer to be endorsed by legendary Beer Hunter Michael Jackson, the world’s foremost beer critic, and the only stout from Asia to be included in Roger Protz’s best-selling book 300 Beers to Try Before You Die. Dark in colour with a pronounced roasted flavour, Lion Stout is layered with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, toffee and toasted malt. Best served chilled.
